Say cheese … in Josef Dornig Junior’s photographic studio in Kočevje. A stamp bearing Dornig’s name confirms authorship of the photograph, which portrays boys from Koprivnik and other villages departing to serve in the Kings Army in 1930. After taking the photographs, Dornig made a few copies, which he remodeled into postcards, therefore the photograph contains all the characteristics of a postcard.
