The carnation-encircled Greetings from Nesselthal is emphasized by the German flag, which connects the bouquets of flowers with two German national cores: Gottschee (Kočevje) and Nesselthal (Koprivnik). The postcard is a combination of a colorized technique (using stencils) and a freehand drawing technique (vignettes). It is obvious proof of national awareness among German Kočevars who already felt the coming of the First World War. It was sent from Koprivnik on the 23rd August 1912. It was published in 1910 by Johann Röthel from Graflinden (Knežja Lipa).
