German geographers named the geographically fragmented landscape of Kočevje regionally: Oberland, Unterland, Hinterland, Hochtal von Suchen, Walden in Moschnitze. On this territory, which stretches out over an area of 800 square kilometers, between Mala gora and Rog, lies Koprivnik, Nesselthal in German. Mathias Rom Jr from Kočevje published the postcard which was reprinted multiple times in 1917. The author of the verse, Josef Lackner (Mrimatlsch) from Nesselthal 40, made sure that the verse was printed on the postcard by Mathias Rom Jr and so added to it a national identity.
