With the development of photography, photo-postcards began to supplant the printed postcards. Recording of a village Črmošnjice shot an unknown amateur photographer. At the time of the origin of photo- postcard, the village belonged to the administrative district of Novo mesto. The municipality, parish, school and fire station formed the core of the village. The school building is in the frame on the left side. In the said building, post office and gendarmerie were also situated.
