The postcard is made using an unusual technique: the original is black and white and to make it more appealing they simply hand-colored it using stencils. This technique was characteristic of the time around WWI. On the postcard, sent from Nesselthal, the roof of Michael Ruppe’s family house is pointed out by the arrow. BACK TO COLLECTION
