Successive number: 014/KK PLACE:                       Nesseltal EVENT:                       DATE:                         around the year 1930   ANNOUNCE:             Die HeiMAT Koprivnik … a beautiful village this used to be. 2006. Gostilne in birti v Koprivmiku – Gasthäuser und wirte in Nesseltal. 2010 PUBLISHER:              - PHOTOGRAPHER:    unknown NOTES:                       photo postcard
I am not sure if the author of the postcard is Josef Dornig from Kočevje, but the girls in front of the house are most definitely the sisters Sali (Rosalia) and Anne (Anna) Lackner. Their father, Josef Lackner, had married into the Beibleisch family, Nesselthal 9. Their father’s craft was taken over by his son Herman Lackner, who owned the inn as well as a butcher. The house was renovated in the thirties of the previous century, so the postcard must have been made around the year 1930. In those days it was in practice that the innkeeper published the postcard in limited numbers, which means it has that much bigger a collectors value. BACK TO COLLECTION
